The APUA firm (Architettura Progettazione Urbana ed Ambientale)- (Urban and Environmental Design Architecture) is directed by Arch. Doriano Lucchesini.
The firm has been active since 1982. From the second half of the 90s to 2010 it was managed in an associated form by Doriano Lucchesini and Gino Cappi.
Currently, it is based in Sarzana (SP) in Via Mascardi, 42
He deals with “project” declined in architecture, general and detail planning and environmental design.
He has drawn up the general planning of some Ligurian coastal municipalities (Arenzano, 2009-18, Pietra Ligure 2005-20, Ameglia 2002-20, Lerici 1996-01, Portovenere 1995-01).
It has prepared detailed plans both on public commission (Plan of the beaches and of the coastal strip of Sarzana and Ameglia, 2013-20, Urban planning of ex Santa Corona, Pietra Ligure 2017, USA of the Piana in Arenzano 2015, Peep Portovenere 2007, etc.) and by private client (among others the ex IP area of La Spezia, and the ex Sirma area of S. Stefano di Magra).
He followed various EIA procedures for production sites and for new urban neighborhoods, carrying out the role of coordination or expert in urban and landscape matters (Ilva di Cornigliano 1999, Solvay di Rosignano 2001, ex FIT of Sestri Levante, tourist port of Ospedaletti, etc. )
He deals with building design on behalf of public and private clients.
He followed the design and construction of special buildings (Polo del Levante, La Spezia 2015, ex Sirma S. Stefano M. 2002-15 complex, Anpi Genova 2007 headquarters, former Manfredi Pieve di Teco Barracks 2006, ACAM NU Arcola 2004 headquarters, etc. ).
He also dealt with residential construction with designs and realizations in different parts of the regional and provincial territory.
He has dealt with infrastructure and environmental arrangements on behalf of ANAS, Italferr, Salt and private clients.
Participates in international competitions and competitions for building, urban planning and landscape projects.
He received prizes and awards (2012 RI.U.SO- FESTARCH2012 –Perugia Award), 2011 (Spiritec New Dehli India Competition), 2010 (2 prize Coastal Architecture Competition Sardinia Region), 2009 (Metra Sistemi d’Autore 2009 Award) , 2008 (Mention of the competition “Out of the Tunnel” A32 Alta Val di Susa) 2004 (2 in the Competition for the new port of Sestri Levante), (2002 Competition for the old port of Savona)
